Each region of Ukraine boasts its own unique ornament, which has been preserved for centuries, passed down from generation to generation, depicted on embroidery, dishes, and household items.
THE CODE OF THE NATION on handmade glass Christmas tree decorations from the Dnipropetrovs'k series, designed by Alena Mamai, who carefully thought out every millimeter of the toy, put meaning, a part of her soul, and love for Ukraine into every stroke of paint.
The history of Dnipropetrovsk embroidery is connected with the steppe culture and traditions of the Cossacks. Before the appearance of black and red colors, embroiderers of the Dnipropetrovsk region used white and gray threads.
This region has always been a meeting place for different peoples and cultures. On some embroidery you can see images of poppies, which symbolize the sun and love. Viburnum - the immortality of the family and the longevity of the family. Rose - the flowering of female beauty, and oak leaves - the strength of the Family. These are the symbols we have depicted on our balls.
The main goal of creating this collection is to preserve the code of the nation, popularize Ukrainian ornament and the opportunity to pass this memory on to our descendants, teaching them to “read” their native, real, returning the heritage and the strong and continuous connection of the Family.
The set includes 3 balls with a diameter of 100mm. The set is shipped in a cardboard gift box.
