Each region of Ukraine has its own unique ornament, preserved for many centuries, handed down from generation to generation, depicted on embroidered shirts, tableware, household items, etc.

The CODE OF THE NATION on the handmade glass Christmas tree ornaments in the Crimean Set series was designed by Alyona Mamay, who carefully thought through every millimeter of the toy, putting meaning, a part of her soul, and love for Ukraine into every stroke of paint.

Orynek is the name of a traditional Crimean Tatar ornament that contains small elements, mostly floral and geometric, combined into a composition, in symmetrical and asymmetrical arrangements.

The red ball has an almond-shaped pattern on it and was used by women who were ready for marriage. This ball represents the blossoming of a woman. It is about the blossoming of the feminine.

The black color is a symbol of the earth and the life force that we receive from Mother Earth. The S-shaped element is a symbol of water, life, and procreation. And the ornament at the base symbolises fire. Together, these are the two primary elements that gave rise to life on our planet.

The brown ball represents a carnation, a symbol of life experience and maturity. The triangles at the top are a talisman symbol. The combination of these elements can be read as wisdom that nurtures and protects life.

The main goal of this collection is to preserve the national code, popularise Ukrainian ornamentation and to pass this memory on to their descendants, to teach them to "read" their own true heritage, to bring back the inheritance and the strong and unbroken bond of the family.
