Each region of Ukraine has its own unique ornament, preserved for many centuries, handed down from generation to generation, depicted on embroidered shirts, tableware, household items, etc.
The CODE OF THE NATION on the handmade glass Christmas tree ornaments in the Zaporizhzhia series was designed by Alyona Mamay, who carefully thought through every millimeter of the toy, putting meaning, a part of her soul, and love for Ukraine into every stroke of paint.
One of the most common ornaments of Zaporizhzhia embroidery is the so-called "cross", which consists of intersecting lines and dots. This ornament symbolizes the cross, which is a symbol of the balance of male and female principles. Another popular ornament of Zaporizhzhia embroidery is the "nut" or "dot". "Nuts" are used to create various geometric shapes that symbolize goodness and fertility. And a bunch of grapes is a symbol of the Clan and family.
The main goal of this collection is to preserve the national code, popularise Ukrainian ornamentation and to pass this memory on to their descendants, to teach them to "read" their own true heritage, to bring back the inheritance and the strong and unbroken bond of the family.
The set includes 3 balls with a diameter of 100mm.
